Lingdong Karst Window Group
Located in Nanzhuping Village, Luota Township, Longshan County, Lingdong Karst Window Group was developed in a faulted structural belt, on the limestone of Wujiaping Formation in the upper series of the Permian System. Within the distance of 240m along the northeast direction are developed five karst windows, which are placed in a linear fashion (Figure 5-12). The karst windows are 10-73m deep and 4-43m wide, and are surrounded by steep cliffs. The largest one is the karst window in the southern side of the natural bridge, which is 73m deep with a maximum diameter of 43m. At the bottom, the karst window is linked with the caves of subterranean stream. A waterfall cascades down the cliffs of the karst window, which looks magnificent.
