Luota Karst Pillar Group
Developed in the steep cliff at the edge of platform, Luota Karst Pillar Group is mainly composed of Zimei (Sisters) Peak and the Peak of Haibaoguantian (A Seal Watching Sky). Sisters Peak is developed at the edge of Yabusi Platform, consisting of two stone pillars. While one stone pillar has a diameter of 8-5m and a height of 23m, the other one is 25m high, with a diameter of 12-20m. They resemble two sisters raising their heads and looking at each other. The Karst Pillar of Haibaoguantian (A Seal Watching Sky) is 100m high and 300m wide, with one end being cone-shaped and soaring skyward. From the east side, it looks like a big seal raising its head to watch the sky. Hence it got its name. The stone pillar is developed in limestone in the lower Permian system (Photo 4-94).
