Jianduoduo Waterfall
Situated in the north of Hepai Village, Liubao Township, Fenghuang County, Hunan Province and the southern end of Niujiao River Valley, Jianduoduo Waterfall has an overflow width ranging from 8-20m and a drop of 236m, which is the waterfall with the largest drop in Hunan Province. It is a seasonal waterfall, with the water flow ranging from 50 L/s in the dry season and 643 L/s in the flood peak period. During the flood season, the waterfall roars down the mountain top with great momentum. In low water period, the mists formed by trickles linger in the air, which looks exceptionally beautiful. Below the waterfall is a pool full of crystal clear water, which has an area of 1200m2 and a depth of 1-8m. The waterfall pours into the pool from the overflow vent with loud noise, which looks very magnificent (Photo 4-67).
